Job description

Hays are working exclusively with one of our partner schools in Sheffield and would like to speak to you if you are a qualified secondary teacher seeking a new post to start in September 2024. We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Art (contract), starting in September 2024 on a permanent or long-term supply basis and welcome applications from ECTs.

If you are seeking a new post where you can inspire students and ignite their creativity, we would like to hear from you. Working within one of the most successful departments in terms of student progress and outcomes in this school, we are looking for the ideal applicant to:

  1. Plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons which support and stretch students at all stages of their creative journey.
  2. Contribute to the department on creative initiatives.
  3. Participate in the delivery of extracurricular activities that increase the engagement and enjoyment of pupils, not only in this subject area but also in their wider school experience.
