Job summary

Ascent College – Remarkable Autism in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maths or IT teacher (GCSE specialist) to join its Specialist Provision for Post-16 learners. The role runs on a term-time schedule (190 days) plus 5 additional days, with MPS – UPS salary and SEN allowance.

You will deliver engaging Maths lessons to autistic young people and adults, teaching small groups and supporting life skills, independence and employability in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking to make a real difference beyond the classroom? At Ascent College, you will support autistic young people and adults to develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need for life beyond education. We are seeking a motivated, values-driven Maths GCSE specialist to join our growing team as we continue to develop innovative and aspirational post-16 provision.

The Remarkable Group has been established for over 50 years, providing the highest quality services for autistic young people. Wargrave House School (ages 5 – 16) & Ascent College (ages 16 – 25) operate a non-maintained special school and independent specialist college with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding education and care to Autistic young people. We are the first national provider to receive Beacon status from the National Autistic Society

The Role

As a teacher at Ascent College, you will:
