Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College seeks a dynamic Teacher for Alternative Provision (Flourish) to deliver Level 2 qualifications and a tailored wellbeing programme for learners with complex needs. The post involves teaching on the Flourish programme and embedding college values across delivery hours.

The role requires degree-level credentials and a teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards this via our teacher apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level and possess a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards this via our teacher apprenticeship programme.
• Desirable experience working with learners with complex needs or in alternative provision or youth work.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with a track record of achieving targets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 Higher Project Qualification and Level 2 BTEC in Work Skills.
• Deliver a bespoke tutorial and wellbeing programme for learners with significant mental health issues.
• Embed college values: Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Compassion and Ambition.
