Job summary

Education Impact Academy Trust (EIAT) is seeking a dynamic Leader for Teacher Development to join Mayfield School in Birmingham. The postholder will plan and deliver high-quality ITT/ECT training, mentoring and support, ensuring rigorous induction and professional growth for trainee teachers.

The role requires an experienced teacher with a track record of excellence in the classroom and a commitment to developing teachers.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a minimum of three years post NQT/ECT experience.
• Must have been a school-based ECT mentor and delivered training to teachers.
• Coaching and mentoring experience would be beneficial.
• Willingness to undertake the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teacher Development if not held.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and provide regular and robust training and development opportunities for ITTs and ECTs.
• Own the integrity of the Mayfield Schools ITT/ECT offer, working with associate partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Role model excellent classroom practice and support colleagues across the schools within EIAT.
