Job summary

Branthwaite Academy, based in Cumbria, is seeking a dedicated Teacher to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work under the Head of School to help pupils access learning, promote independence and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

The role is permanent and term-time only with 39 working weeks, offering high-quality CPD and ongoing support to develop specialist SEND expertise while making a difference to young people.

Salary £32916 FTE Pro Rata

Plus £2000.00 BA SEN Allowance (pro rata) on satisfactory completion of probationary period

Start Date TBC (PAN 74, Mixed 4-19 years)

Whether you already have extensive SEND experience or are looking for a new professional challenge, we offer high-quality CPD, coaching and ongoing support to support successful candidates to develop specialist expertise and make life changing difference to our young people.

We are seeking a committed and attentive Teacher to support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Working under the direction of the Head of School and other professionals, you will help pupils access learning, promote independence, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
