Job summary

A leading education recruitment firm in Warrington is seeking a dedicated Teacher for KS2 to support learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. This full-time role, Monday to Friday, aims to deliver varied subjects and provides an environment geared towards reintegration into mainstream education. Applicants must hold a PGCE with QTS, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a creative approach to teaching. A competitive salary with bonuses and pension contributions is offered.

Qualifications

Teacher Hazel Tree Education Ltd•Warrington, Cheshire, United Kingdom

Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting an Alternative Provision in Warrington who require a teacher to deliver a variety of subjects across the KS2 curriculum on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm to learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (only 3 pupils in the class currently). The role is set to start immediately and long-term.

The school provides personalised provision for learners, schools and families designed to enable reintegration into mainstream education via specialist social / emotional support. They use a variety of therapeutic approaches to re-engage learners with education. Pastoral care is integral to the provision and every learner has access to a learning mentor with 1 : 1 pastoral support. If a learner is unable to return to a mainstream setting, the centre will support them in identifying a qualification pathway within the school or another specialist setting.

Applicants must have :

  • PGCE with QTS
  • The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
  • A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
  • Two references including most recent employer
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A clear DBS on the Update Service
