Job summary

Zest Education is seeking a passionate and flexible Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Stafford on a long-term basis. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to extend to KS5 depending on experience.

The role offers weekly pay, ongoing CPD and the chance for a permanent position for the right candidate, working within a supportive team to raise student achievement.

Qualifications

  • Qualified with QTS or ECT status.
  • Confident teaching a range of subjects at secondary level.
  • Able to adapt quickly to different classes and learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5 where applicable).
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a focused, productive atmosphere.
  • Assess, record and report student progress in line with policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to promote strong outcomes.

We are currently seeking a passionate and flexible Teacher to join one of our partner schools on a long‑term basis. This position offers the chance to support students across a range of subjects, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students' learning and development across the curriculum. You will deliver engaging and effective lessons, ensuring pupils of all abilities are challenged, supported, and encouraged to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high‑quality lessons across a range of subjects
  • Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 where applicable, depending on experience)
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a focused and productive atmosphere
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to promote strong outcomes for students
  • Encouraging a positive attitude to learning and school life
About You
  • Passionate about education and supporting student progress
  • Qualified with QTS or ECT status
  • Confident teaching a range of subjects at secondary level
  • Able to adapt quickly to different classes, subjects, and learning needsCommitted to maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom management

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school‑based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care‑based experience within the last 5 years.
