Job summary

Zest Education in Sutton Coldfield is seeking enthusiastic secondary supply teachers to support schools in the Birmingham area. Roles start Sept 2026 and continue throughout the academic year, with flexible part- and full-time options to suit your schedule.

Work across a variety of schools, delivering engaging lessons, managing behaviour, and supporting student development. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required; salary depends on experience.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience teaching in secondary schools is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of enthusiasm and energy.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in different educational settings.

Are you passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on students' education? Zest Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable secondary school supply teachers for various schools in Sutton Coldfield.

Variety of roles available starting Sept 2026 and throughout the rest of the year academic year. Flexible roles also available, offering both part and full times roles to suit your needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
