Job summary

Cambian Pengwern College is seeking a talented and experienced Teacher to join our education team in North Wales. You will work alongside a supportive team to deliver a person-centred curriculum to students aged 16 to 25 with learning difficulties and complex needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification, have experience with learners with SEN, and be able to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment aimed at high achievement.

Qualifications

• Have a recognised teaching qualification and experience.
• Experience of working with learners with learning difficulties/disabilities and/or challenging behaviour
• Able to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment to underpin high levels of achievement for all learners
• Exposure / Experience with ESTYN & CIW (preferred)

Pengwern College is looking to enhance the quality of Education to our Students and are looking for a talented and experienced Teacher to join the team!

Working alongside a supportive and collaborative team, you will be playing an important & rewarding part in providing education to our Students.

Cambian Pengwern College is an independent provider of specialist further education in North Wales, offering day, and up to 52-week residential placements for young people aged 16 to 25 with a learning disability and complex needs.

Our person-centred approach ensures that students have an individualised learning programme developed to effectively match their needs, personal decisions and aspirations, be the focus on daily living skills, vocational qualifications or independent living.
