Job summary

TeacherActive Limited, a leading education recruitment agency in the UK, is seeking a Qualified Primary Teacher for roles in Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas. The position offers day rates between £150 and £160 depending on experience, with opportunities for day-to-day supply, long-term placements, or permanent roles.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and have experience teaching KS1 and KS2, with a drive to improve educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching both Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Desire to drive improvements in educational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across KS1 and KS2 in line with school policies.
• Provide reliable day-to-day supply, long-term placements or permanent roles as required.
• Safeguard pupils and comply with DBS checks and school safeguarding policies.
