Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking passionate Primary School Teachers to support Isle of Sheppey and surrounding areas with day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements. Flexibility and reliability are essential as schools request cover across various year groups.

Qualified teachers with QTS and a current Enhanced DBS are preferred; driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantaged due to multiple locations. We welcome enthusiastic educators ready to make a difference.

Qualifications

• QTS required and confident to work across Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
• Experience or familiarity with SEN desirable.
• Enhanced DBS certificate required or willingness to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging primary teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified teachers holding QTS.
• Confidence and flexibility to work across Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
• A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to keeping children safe.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A current Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred, due to the variety of school locations.
