Job summary

Thrive Group is seeking a SEND Teacher PMLD Specialist for our Integrated Resource Base in Kirby. You will design personalized sensory-based learning, support students with complex needs, and work with a dedicated team of TAs to deliver high-quality education.

The role requires QTS and experience with PMLD settings. Collaboration with Physio, Occupational, and Speech & Language therapists is routine, with an emphasis on holistic student well-being and progress.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential for this role.
• PMLD expertise such as sensory curricula, hoist training, or PECS/Makaton is a plus and a willingness to learn is valued.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans based on students' medical or emotional needs.
• Strong empathy and commitment to delivering an enriched education for complex students.

SEND Teacher PMLD Specialist (Integrated Resource Base)

Location: Kirby

Hours: 08 45 (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: £150-£220 Per day
