Job summary

Bird & Blend Tea Co. in Bath is seeking a friendly Tea Mixologist to deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience, mix tea-based drinks, and share knowledge about our blends with enthusiasm.

The part-time, temporary role is 12 hours per week, with weekend and some evening shifts, supporting events, sampling and stock tasks, while engaging customers with samples and upholding our sustainability values.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, especially 1-1 sales.
• Brand representation and embodying company values.
• Genuine passion for our products and enthusiasm to share it.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and connect.
• Professional and respectful interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Empathy to create a positive, inclusive experience.
• Flexible weekend/evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and achieve store sales targets.
• Handle till transactions smoothly and accurately.
• Follow store procedures including deliveries, stocktakes and replenishment.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and tidy work environment.
• Support sustainability goals aligned with our values.
• Assist store management and team as needed.
• Become an expert on Bird & Blend products and ethics.
• Greet customers with samples and make them feel welcome.
• Prioritise customer happiness and memorable shopping experiences.
• Assist with events and sampling both in-store and externally.
