Job description

An exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a transformational transport programme worth more than £60m. As TCR Programme Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of major transport schemes, driving business case development, stakeholder engagement, governance and delivery readiness to secure future investment and unlock growth across North Tyneside.

The successful candidate will be an experienced programme leader with a strong track record of delivering complex transport, highways, infrastructure or construction programmes. You will bring strategic thinking, commercial awareness and the ability to manage significant capital investment programmes from business case development through to delivery.

Confident working with senior stakeholders, funding bodies, elected members, consultants and contractors, you will be skilled at building effective partnerships, navigating complex governance arrangements and driving projects forward in challenging environments.

You will combine excellent programme and financial management skills with the ability to solve problems, influence decision-making and deliver successful outcomes.
