Job summary

Affinia, the UK’s largest purpose-led accountancy firm, is seeking a Tax Trainee based in Leigh on Sea, Essex. You will study ATT or CTA and deliver high-quality tax services to a broad client base, including individuals and businesses, while developing core competencies in UK tax law and compliance.

The role offers a hybrid working model with strong study support, funded qualifications, and a focus on hands-on client experience from day one.

Qualifications

• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• IT-literate with experience of Microsoft Office products.
• Enjoy collaborating with people.
• Enjoy learning both formally and on the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of Tax Returns and computations.
• Develop understanding of core UK tax legislation and its application.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to tax discussions.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance tax knowledge.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Support with other administrative tasks as required.
