Job summary

Saffery Champness in London is seeking school leavers to start a three year and three month Personal Tax Trainee program, studying towards ATT/CTA. You’ll join a supportive, inclusive firm with structured development, first-class tuition, and exposure to high-net-worth clients with UK and offshore interests.

You’ll learn core tax principles, regulatory requirements, and client advisory work while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 6/B or higher
• AAT Level 4 qualification or studying ATT/CTA pathway

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax returns, computations and compliance filings.
• Support reporting, analysis and submissions with client data.
• Use specialist software to deliver tax work.
• Carry out technical research and support client projects.
• Prepare reports and documentation for senior review.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues across industries.
• Contribute to delivering accurate tax solutions and planning projects.
