Job summary

DJH in the UK is seeking a Tax Trainee for its Early Careers team. You’ll work alongside a seasoned Tax team, learning to provide accurate tax advice and client support in a fast-paced environment starting September 2027.

With a 2:1 degree and ATT CTA pathway ahead, you’ll develop through fully funded training, tailored learning, and an in-house CPD calendar, while enjoying a competitive salary and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• You will have – or be expecting – a 2:1 degree, with A levels at grades C or above (or equivalent).
• You will start ATT CTA Tax Pathway to complete ATT and CTA qualifications.
• Good communication and organisational skills, with a willingness to learn.
• Some experience of tax matters through study or work is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Tax team with the completion of tax compliance.
• Assisting with tax administration duties including logging information, scanning client records & billing.
• Being part of a talented team, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver.
• Preparing self-assessment personal tax returns and advising clients of liabilities.
• Collating information and preparing P11D forms for limited companies.
• Handling HMRC correspondence or enquiries.
• Preparing small accounts for sole traders.
