MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well established Practice based in Belfast , looking to recruit for a Tax Technician on a full time, permanent basis.

The practice was established in 1992 providing a range of services such as Audit, Accounts, Tax (Personal + Corporate), Corporate Finance and Payroll. The company work with a range of clients across - NI, UK, ROI and US. Some of these industries include: construction, health care, professional services, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, IT, marketing and charity sectors

Job Duties of the Tax Technician Include:

• Reporting into the Tax Manager
• Prepare and submit personal tax returns for individuals and partnerships.
• Communicate effectively with HM Revenue & Customs on relevant matters.
• Prepare and file P11D forms and Employment Related Securities (ERS) returns.
• Collaborate with the wider accounting team to ensure smooth and integrated personal tax compliance processes.

What You Need to be the Successful Tax Technician?

• Hold a qualification as a Tax Technician or Accounting Technician with demonstrated experience in personal taxation.
• Open to Part Qualified ACA/ACCA
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other technical professionals.
• Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and Excel skills, with the ability to present clear and concise summaries of information.
