Time Appointments is representing a leading accountants firm recruiting an experienced Tax Senior. You will prepare and review personal and partnership tax returns and offer tailored planning for a diverse client portfolio.

You will mentor junior staff, liaise with HMRC, and build long-term client relationships with proactive, compliant advice. The role offers flexible working arrangements, a competitive salary, and opportunities for professional development including study support and CPD

Qualifications

• ATT qualified or QBE; CTA/STEP study support available for further development.
• Experience in a tax role within a professional practice environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident with clients.
• Excellent attention to detail; able to manage workload and deadlines.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal and partnership tax returns with accuracy.
• Provide tailored tax planning and advisory support to a diverse client base.
• Support and mentor junior team members; review their work.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and stay up to date with UK tax changes.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with proactive advice.
