Compare the Market in Peterborough (UK) is seeking a Tax Manager to lead VAT reporting and UK tax compliance. You’ll prepare and review VAT returns, advise on VAT treatment of new products and contracts, and support Corporation Tax, R&D claims and tax risk controls.

You’ll work in a hybrid model with strong emphasis on data tools, AI-driven processes, and collaboration with HMRC and external advisors to ensure timely, accurate filings.

Qualifications

• CTA or CIOT with post-qualification experience in-house or firm.
• Strong VAT technical grounding and ability to explain complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities
