Role: Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager

Location: Northampton (Office-Based)

Salary: Negotiable + Uncapped Commission

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex R&D tax claims

• Provide strategic tax planning and consultancy across a broad client base

• Own client relationships and become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders

• Ensure technical accuracy and legislative compliance across all submissions

• Collaborate with technical, finance, and delivery teams to drive results

• Mentor and develop junior consultants, raising the bar across the team

• Contribute to operational improvement, client retention, and growth

What You Bring

• Experience preparing or reviewing Tax and/or R&D tax claims—whether as a Senior Tax Accountant, Assistant Manager, Team Leader, or established Manager in a professional services setting

• Strong understanding of UK R&D tax legislation and compliance requirements

• Leadership skills—confident managing teams and high-value client portfolios

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and commercial awareness

• ACA, ATT, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
