IPS Finance, a long-established independent firm of chartered accountants in the UK, is strengthening its tax team with the appointment of an experienced tax professional.

This is a genuine succession opportunity, working alongside an experienced Tax Director, you'll receive the support and exposure needed to develop into a senior position, taking responsibility for both advisory and compliance work across a varied client portfolio.

• Personal and corporate tax compliance for a varied client portfolio.
• Tax planning and advisory work to support client objectives.
• Managing your own portfolio of clients with guidance from the Tax Director.
• Building relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser.
• Working alongside the Tax Director with a clear succession plan into a senior role.

Working as part of a four-person tax team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of personal and corporate tax matters, including:

• Personal and corporate tax compliance
• Tax planning and advisory work
• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Building relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser
• Working alongside the Tax Director with a clear succession plan into a senior role

The client base is diverse and established, including:

• Sole traders and owner-managed businesses
• High net worth individuals, including clients with multi-million pound and nine-figure wealth
• UK companies with turnovers in the centi-millions
