Job summary

Signet Recruitment and Retention is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager for a broad advisory-led role in its growing tax team. You will work with owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurial groups and private clients across restructurings, exits, share schemes and complex private client planning.

You will lead relationships with clients, collaborate with senior leadership and mentor junior staff, while ensuring high-quality, autonomous delivery of technically varied work.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification (or equivalent) with strong UK practice experience.
• Ability to manage technically varied work autonomously.
• Experience advising owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurial groups and private clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead broad advisory-focused tax work covering reorganisations, business exits, share schemes, corporate tax planning, HMRC enquiries and complex private client matters.
• Build and maintain client relationships, working closely with senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.

An ambitious and fast-growing independent accountancy firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Tax Manager into a key position within its expanding tax team.

The firm has quadrupled in size over the last six years and continues to invest heavily in growth, creating a genuine route towards Associate Director, Director and potentially Partner level for the right individual.

This is a broad advisory-led role working with owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurial groups and private clients across areas including reorganisations, business exits, share schemes, corporate tax planning, HMRC enquiries and complex private client matters.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, take ownership of client relationships and play a visible role in mentoring and developing junior team members.

The successful candidate will be CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong UK practice experience and the confidence to manage technically varied work autonomously.
