Role & Responsibilities
- Producing the quarterly tax provisions for US GAAP reporting
- Drafting UK statutory tax disclosures
- Preparing corporate tax computations, filings and assisting with associated matters
- Providing support for Lloyd’s of London tax requests and submissions
- Liaison with internal teams, HMRC, external auditors and advisers
- Providing support for Certificates of UK Tax Residence and FATCA processes
- Assist Senior Tax Manager and Head of Tax (UK) with direct tax technical analysis regarding ad hoc projects
Requirements
- The ability to independently organise, prioritise and manage several workstreams to meet statutory and internal deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence to ask questions/ challenge information provided and initiative especially in dealing with areas of ambiguity
- A proactive attitude to identifying problems/ better ways of working and recommending/ implementing solutions
- Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate tax-technical issues to a non-tax audience and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
