Job description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join one of the country's largest Private Client teams.

Client Details

The client is a leading Scottish law firm.

Description

Focused on tax, you will be responsible for the compliance aspects of a varied portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include:

  1. Completion/Review of tax returns for individuals, Trusts, and Estates;
  2. Completion/Review of Registrations on the Trust Registration Service;
  3. Triaging Executry cases for the private client team;
  4. Preparing/Reviewing Residuary Income Statements and R185s certificates;
  5. Providing advice on all aspects of CGT residential property disposals;
  6. Providing advice on residence for clients coming to and from the UK and the tax implications thereon.
Profile
  • Tax Qualification.
  • Experience in a Tax-specific role, including all aspects of Personal Taxation and Capital Gains Tax.
  • Trust and Estate taxation and/or administration experience.
  • Hold a tax-specific qualification.
  • Ability to develop client relationships and provide excellent, timely service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work within the tax team and private client department, and collaborate with other departments as required.
  • Versatile and adaptable.
