The role involves leading complex HMRC investigations, overseeing cases from opening to settlement, and providing expert technical guidance.

The role offers hybrid Manchester working arrangements with a salary band of £80,000-£100,000 plus bonus, with opportunities for progression and client exposure in a specialist practice.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing HMRC investigations.
• Strong understanding of COP8 and COP9 procedures.
• Experience with Worldwide Disclosure Facility (WDF) and voluntary disclosures.
• Proven ability to oversee complex, high-value investigations.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of complex HMRC investigations from opening to settlement.
• Lead COP8 and COP9 and liaise with HMRC Fraud Investigation Service.
• Provide technical oversight and mentoring to junior team members.
• Build client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
• Drive strategy in high-value tax dispute cases.
