Job summary

Senior Tax Manager in Bristol is required to join a leading independent professional services firm on a full-time basis. You will specialise in HMRC investigations, lead cases through to resolution and provide strategic client advisory services.

You'll oversee COP8 and COP9 matters, manage voluntary disclosures, and mentor junior colleagues while keeping up to date with tax legislation and HMRC practice. A strong UK tax background is essential.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified (ACA, CA or ACCA advantageous).
• Significant tax investigations experience with strong UK tax and HMRC knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded with experience in business development and coaching others.

Our client, a leading independent professional services firm, is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager specialising in HMRC Investigations to join their specialist tax team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager who enjoys working on complex cases, solving challenging problems and providing strategic advice to clients. You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of HMRC investigations, acting as a trusted adviser throughout the process and using your technical expertise to navigate complex tax issues and achieve effective resolutions.

With exposure to high-value and technically interesting work, strong client relationships and opportunities to mentor and develop others, this role offers an excellent platform for an experienced tax professional looking to further establish themselves within tax investigations and dispute resolution.
