AJ Chambers in Bury St Edmunds is recruiting a Private Client Tax Director to lead relationships with a prestigious client portfolio. You will deliver high-quality tax advice across trusts, IHT, CGT, property and agricultural taxation, and lead advisory assignments alongside Partners.

You’ll work with an impressive portfolio of prestigious private clients, including HNWIs, wealthy landowners and prominent families across East Anglia. The work is varied and technically interesting, covering complex trusts, IHT, CGT, property taxation and agricultural tax matters.

The role

• Lead client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to a portfolio of private clients.
• Deliver high-quality advice across complex personal tax matters.
• Lead advisory assignments, working directly with clients and alongside Partners.
• Advise on trusts, IHT, CGT, property and agricultural taxation.
• Attend client meetings and strengthen relationships with clients and professional networks.
