Job Description:

The role

Sits within the Restructuring Tax team, primarily advising on large-scale refinancings, debt and capital restructurings, and corporate insolvencies. We work across the Deals business with a market that covers large corporate clients and lenders worldwide, across various industries including retail, manufacturing, insurance, banking, pensions, real estate, PFI, private equity, and credit.

As part of the team, you'll have an opportunity to develop your career and reputation as a trusted adviser working in a high-performing environment. You’ll work on complex projects with prestigious clients—from multinationals and private equity firms to startups and owner-managed businesses.

What your days will look like

  1. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of key client accounts.
  2. You will work directly with clients and their legal, banking, and other stakeholders.
  3. You will collaborate with PwC professionals globally to deliver efficient client service.
  4. You will assist in preparing and managing client deliverables.
  5. You will guide junior team members and support senior staff.
  6. You will gain exposure to the commercial aspects of transactions and apply this knowledge to your work.

This role is for you if

  1. You possess an ACA or CTA qualification (or equivalent) or have relevant work experience, including international candidates.
  2. You have previous tax experience.
  3. You can handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  4. You are adaptable and responsive to change.
  5. You have strong communication skills, especially in negotiation and influence.
  6. You approach work analytically and logically.
  7. You are willing to learn and step outside your comfort zone.
