The Tax Associate (trainee role with study package) will play an important team role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the tax department, to ensure all financial and business objectives are met.
This role is client-facing and requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term professional relationships with clients and internal teams. It is suited to individuals with a keen interest in business, a desire to learn, and problem-solving abilities.
The role involves assisting with managing deadlines and complex technical tax queries.
You will be a vital team member, providing accurate, timely information to clients to support informed decision-making. Responsibilities include processing personal tax returns and preparing other tax reports for HMRC, including EIS investments and employee option schemes.
