Larking Gowen in Norwich is seeking a junior tax assistant to support the preparation of tax returns, rental income accounts and basic self‑employment computations. You will enter source information provided by clients and draft HMRC filings for senior review.

You will liaise with HMRC and other professionals, maintain client records in-house and support senior staff on advisory projects, upholding the firm's high standards of service.

Formación

• Tax experience is required.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-4 or equivalent.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and basic computer packages.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparation of tax returns and computations from client data.
• Draft basic Capital Gains Tax computations for senior review.
• Prepare HMRC forms for senior review, including tax elections and PAYE coding amendments.
• Assist senior team members on tax advisory projects.
• Liaise with HMRC and other professionals for client matters.
• Ensure adherence to professional ethics and firm procedures.
• Maintain and update the in-house client database.
