Vaisto Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a CTA-qualified Tax Advisory Manager to join a respected national tax boutique with offices across the UK. The role offers hybrid working, based in Altrincham with part-time or flexible hours considered.

You will lead a diverse advisory portfolio covering corporate and private client matters, manage projects end-to-end, and mentor junior staff within a supportive national network.

• Develop client relationships and work with senior colleagues on challenging assignments.
• Collaborate with VAT, capital allowances and R&D teams.
• Support the technical development of junior colleagues pursuing CTA/ACA qualifications.

Tax Advisory Manager - Altrincham and National Locations / Hybrid / Part Time and Flexible hours considered - £55,000-£65,000

An established specialist tax consultancy is looking to appoint a CTA-qualified Tax Advisory Manager to join its growing team of approximately 20 experienced tax professionals.

The firm offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of complex corporate and private client tax advisory assignments, alongside highly experienced specialists who can support your continued technical development.

Candidates can be based at various offices across the firm's national network, with hybrid working also available.

Tax Advisory Manager - Responsibilities

Working alongside experienced tax specialists, you will manage a varied portfolio of advisory assignments, with responsibilities tailored to your expertise in corporate tax, private client tax, or both.

• Managing tax advisory projects from initial client discussions through to completion.
• Providing technical advice on corporate transactions, reorganisations, restructurings and shareholder matters, where relevant to your experience.
• Advising on private client matters, including capital gains tax, inheritance tax and personal tax planning, where appropriate.
• Researching complex tax issues and preparing detailed written advice and recommendations.
• Developing client relationships and working closely with senior colleagues on technically challenging assignments.
• Collaborating with specialist VAT, capital allowances and R&D teams across the wider group.
• Supporting the technical development of junior colleagues undertaking CTA and ACA/CTA qualifications.

Tax Advisory Manager - Requirements

• CTA qualification (essential).
• Broad corporate tax advisory experience, private client tax advisory experience, or a combination of both.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience across a range of tax matters, rather than one narrow specialism.
• Experience managing advisory assignments and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
• Strong communication, organisational and client relationship skills.

Applications are welcomed from established Tax Advisory Managers and less experienced CTA-qualified professionals with a solid advisory background who are looking to broaden their technical experience.
