Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bolton Council's Targeted Youth Support Service within the Family Help provision. As a Targeted Youth Support worker, you will work with children, young people and families across Bolton, managing a caseload and completing holistic early help assessments of family needs and strengths.

Qualifications

• Essential qualification: Relevant JNC level 3 qualification or above in youth work practice, youth and community work
• Full driving licence is essential
• DBS clearance is essential

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and young people and lead holistic early help assessments
• Develop clear and effective plans with families and partner agencies
• Deliver one-to-one support to children, young people and families in the community and at home
• Deliver targeted group work programmes, including evening and Saturday delivery
• Work with families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes using strengths-based approaches
