  • Provide targeted interventions with vulnerable young people allocated within children’s social care in accordance with agreed areas of relevant plans (e.g. Child in Need and Child Protection).
  • Support young people to participate in the co-production of the Targeted Youth Support offer, so their voices and experiences are heard and understood.
  • Prepare and participate in the step up / down of young people to / from teams within the Supporting Families division (e.g. Children’s Social Care and Youth Justice Service) as well as support with any safeguarding issues.

Role Requirements

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, national standards, policy, practice and current issues related to young people and families.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures and levels of need.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in youth work, youth justice, education, health, teaching, probation or social work (SWE registered).
