Job summary

GAP Group Limited in Manchester is seeking a 26T Tanker Driver to safely collect and transport liquid wastes and deliver non-potable water, ensuring all work meets DVSA and HSE regulations.

You’ll use modern equipment, log digital records in BigChange, perform daily vehicle checks, and uphold high safety, service and customer‑care standards while supporting industrial and construction projects.

Qualifications

• HGV driving experience in tanker or waste sector preferred.
• Must hold HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC (35 hours), and Digi Tacho card.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate paperwork.
• Professional, friendly customer-facing approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver non-potable water or remove waste from industrial sites and complete paperwork.
• Service welfare units and septic tanks and replenish consumables.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance for roadworthiness and safety.
• Record job details and photos on BigChange and obtain customer sign-off.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and support depot duties.
• Follow site Health & Safety rules and use digital tachographs per legislation.
