Job summary

GAP Tanker Services Division in the UK is looking for a reliable 26T Tanker Driver who can safely collect and transport liquid waste, deliver non-potable water, and ensure compliance with environmental, DVSA and HSE regulations.

You will use modern equipment, record job details in BigChange, perform daily vehicle checks, service welfare units and effluent tanks, and support industrial projects while upholding safety, service and customer care.

Qualifications

HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC (35 hours) and Digi Tacho card are essential.
Experience in tanker or waste sectors is advantageous.
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

Deliver non-potable water or remove waste from industrial sites, completing all paperwork accurately.
Service welfare units and septic tanks, refill chemicals and consumables.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance for roadworthiness and safety.
Complete final site visits, record job details and photos on BigChange, and obtain customer sign-off.
Maintain a clean and organised vehicle and assist with depot duties.
Follow customer site Health & Safety rules and use tachographs in line with legislation.
