Job summary

British Museum is looking for a Talent Programmes Officer to shape the future of its apprenticeships and early-career initiatives in a hybrid role based in Bloomsbury, London. You will manage programmes, ensure funding compliance and work with partners to widen access to opportunities.

The role focuses on providing meaningful support, developing learners, and creating pathways into work while collaborating with schools, universities and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating apprenticeship or early-career programmes.
• Good understanding of apprenticeship funding and levy requirements.
• Confidence working with data, systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee apprenticeship programmes and ensure learners are supported.
• Design and deliver engaging early-career experiences for participants.
• Build partnerships with schools, colleges, universities and community organisations.
• Monitor progress, maintain records and maximise levy utilisation.
