Overview

ERM, the world's largest pure-play sustainability consultancy, is regularly hiring experienced EIA professionals at Managing and Principal Consultant levels for our Onshore Renewables & Infrastructure team within Capital Project Delivery. Role Responsibilities
  • Provide expert environmental consultancy services to clients.
  • Lead environmental inputs for planning applications, including screening, scoping, environmental appraisals, and large-scale EIA projects.
  • Project manage complex projects such as onshore wind, solar, battery storage, and grid connection.
  • Collaborate with marine teams on offshore projects occasionally.
  • Navigate projects through licensing and consenting processes.
  • Offer strategic advice to clients and ensure project delivery within schedule and budget.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships and represent ERM at meetings and events.

Candidate Profile

Degree in environmental discipline, experienced in consulting, regulatory, or developer environments, with a strong track record in managing EIAs, understanding of the consenting process, excellent report writing skills, and chartered status or working towards it (e.g., IEMA).
