Job description

We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Talent & Partnerships Manager to join our team at Water Creative working with the talent division Underwater. This is a hybrid role that bridges influencer talent management with end-to-end brand partnerships. You will manage and grow a small but high-impact roster of digital talent, while also leading and executing brand campaigns, overseeing budgets, and contributing to new business development.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is looking to take on a broader strategic role in the influencer and digital marketing space.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Talent Management

  • Manage and grow a select roster of digital talent, nurturing long-term career development.
  • Scout, sign, and onboard new and emerging talent in line with agency growth goals.
  • Negotiate, draft, and execute contracts with brands and agencies.
  • Brief talent on campaign requirements and oversee all deliverables from creation to delivery.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with ASA guidelines and platform policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date talent profiles, including bios, stats, case studies, and social media presence, to support new business and growth opportunities.
  • Stay on top of social and cultural trends to help talent stay relevant and ahead of the curve.
  • Provide talent with performance insights and strategic recommendations for growth.
  • Handle inbox management for talent, responding to inbound enquiries, sending rate cards and stats promptly.
  • Proactively identify new brand partnership opportunities and pitch talent for relevant campaigns.
  • Manage crisis and reputation issues, ensuring seamless and effective solutions while protecting both the talent’s and agency’s brand image.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing, payments, and financial tracking for all talent partnerships.
  • Foster positive relationships with brands, agencies, and other stakeholders to build a strong reputation and create repeat partnership opportunities.

Partnerships & Campaign Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of influencer-led brand campaigns, from concept, briefing, and timelines, to final delivery and post-campaign analysis.
  • Manage complex campaigns with multiple stakeholders and timelines, while maintaining creative quality and efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally with agencies and internal team members to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage budgets across campaigns, ensuring financial tracking and profitability.
  • Gather campaign analytics and ROI metrics to deliver meaningful insights to both talent and brand partners.
  • Develop strategic pitches and client proposals that align with brand goals and campaign objectives, identifying innovative talent and partnership opportunities to drive successful influencer and client campaigns.

New Business & Strategy

  • Take strategic ownership of generating new business and long-term partnerships across both talent and brand.
  • Pitch the talent roster and agency capabilities to brands, agencies, and potential clients.
  • Identify and secure diversified revenue streams for talent, including UGC, TikTok Shop, licensing, affiliate marketing, podcasting, publishing, and collaborations.
  • Maximise budgets through upselling and cross-collaboration between talent.
  • Support and lead on internal strategies for the growth of the talent division, working alongside Talent Managers.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 2–4 years’ experience in influencer/talent management, brand partnerships, or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience managing a talent roster and overseeing end-to-end influencer campaigns and competent in creating campaign decks and pitching to clients. .
  • Confident in contract negotiation, paid media, and campaign management.
  • A strong network of brand and agency contacts within the influencer marketing industry.
  • Knowledge of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and platform analytics.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Data-driven with the ability to interpret performance insights and turn them into action.
  • Passionate about the digital creator space, with a creative and strategic mindset being at the forefront of creator trends.
