Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright in Newcastle is seeking a Talent Advisor to deliver best-in-class talent initiatives across the EMEAPAC region, in collaboration with HR, L&D and partners. The role focuses on performance, career growth and employee engagement, with a hybrid work model to balance flexibility and collaboration.

Reporting to the Talent Manager, you will support Workday-based processes, coordinate development programmes, and help drive talent mapping, succession planning and communication

Qualifications

• Previous experience in talent management is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure to support the Head of Talent.
• Ability to engage and gain credibility with all levels of employee and partners.
• A real appetite for self-improvement and progression.
• Excellent and demonstrable project management skills.
• Experience of using a HRIS such as SAP or Workday.
• Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Resilience with the confidence to deliver difficult messages.
• An excellent team player.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, delivery and improvement of Talent, Performance and Growth processes across EMEAPAC.
• Assist with rollout and administration of Workday-based talent processes.
• Develop competency frameworks and career stage guidelines.
• Coordinate communications and materials for career development initiatives.
• Assist with annual talent, performance and salary review communications.
• Develop training materials, FAQs and stakeholder briefings to support initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Business Partners, Reward, L&D, HRIS and IT Training to deliver priorities.
• Contribute to talent mapping, succession planning, reporting and insights.
• Support collection and analysis of colleague engagement survey data.
• Project manage Talent Development workstreams across the annual talent cycle.
• Plan and deliver development initiatives and campaigns (Career Focus Week, etc.).
• Organise Celebrating Success events across London and Newcastle.
• Provide general support to the Talent team.
