Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking a proactive Recruitment & Talent Engagement Officer to coordinate recruitment activity and deliver an outstanding recruitment experience. Based in Dudley, you will work with managers and partners to attract top talent for Children and Young People services.

You will manage ads, support campaigns, and help develop employer branding, while ensuring compliance and a high-quality applicant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating recruitment, resourcing or HR processes.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with recruitment systems and MS Office applications.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and public service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment campaigns across CYP roles.
• Manage vacancy advertisements on multiple platforms and social media.
• Provide a professional service to applicants, managers and stakeholders.
• Support hiring managers to attract candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
• Organise interviews, assessment centres and recruitment events.
• Produce recruitment correspondence and maintain records.
• Contribute to employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
• Analyse recruitment data and support workforce planning.
• Provide day-to-day supervision to Recruitment Officers when needed.
