We’re not looking for someone to just fill jobs. We’re looking for someone to change how recruitment feels.
We’re looking for a Talent and Resourcing Advisor who can help us find top tier people and make the journey feel brilliant for candidates and hiring managers too.
This isn’t recruitment on autopilot. It’s talent and resourcing with curiosity, pace, data, creativity and a healthy dose of “why don’t we try this?”.
You’ll work across a mix of roles, with a real chance to shape how we attract and hire great people into our customer experience teams - the people supporting our customers every day.
We want someone who can look beyond filling vacancies and help us build better pipelines, sharper attraction plans, fairer assessments and stronger routes for people to move, grow and progress across Yorkshire Housing.
What you’ll get stuck into
You’ll be the person managers come to when they need more than a shortlist - they need insight, challenge and a proper plan. You’ll help them get clear on what they need, use evidence well and apply an equality, diversity and inclusion lens throughout - challenging bias, removing barriers and making sure assessments are accessible.
You’ll also have space to think ahead, not just who do we need now, but who might we need next, and how could we build, buy or borrow the skills we need. You’ll:
What we’re looking for
You’ll know recruitment and resourcing, but what will really excite you is the move towards broader talent thinking - seeing how attraction, assessment, onboarding, internal movement and retention all connect across the colleague journey.
Building trust with hiring managers will come naturally to you. You’ll ask the right questions and help people make good recruitment decisions - even when that means challenging their thinking. Alongside that you’ll bring;
Most of all, we’re looking for someone curious, proactive and full of ideas. Someone who can deliver well today, while helping us move from recruitment that reacts to vacancies, to talent thinking that helps Yorkshire Housing build capability for the future.
What’s in it for you?
And because this role is about more than keeping the recruitment wheels turning, you’ll also get the chance to influence how we think about talent, mobility, progression and future capability across Yorkshire Housing.
In short: you’ll get the benefits, the backing and the opportunity to make a real mark.
The fine print
If you’re applying for this role internally, you must inform your current line manager (it’s the right thing to do!).
