We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our internal recruitment and onboarding processes. This is a maternity cover position, open to both full-time and part-time candidates (12 months fixed term contract with a possibility to extend).

This person will play a key role in delivering a positive candidate experience from attraction and recruitment to the start of onboarding, ensuring we attract and integrate top talent efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our internal candidate application and screening programme using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Review incoming applications to identify potential candidates based on job requirements.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to shortlist candidates.
  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate suitability and provide feedback to managers.
  • Liaise with external recruiters.
  • Draft offer letters and employment contracts in collaboration with the People Team.
  • Coordinate pre-boarding and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
  • Support hiring managers and new joiners throughout the preboarding and onboarding journeys.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our candidate experience and onboarding processes.
  • Support with internal comms, L&D and people initiatives as required

Key Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, or HR administration.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Teamtailor, Greenhouse, or Workable is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems or recruitment software.
  • Comfortable conducting screening interviews and liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative and team-focused mindset.
  • Understanding of employment contracts and offer processes
