Job summary

Sumer Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Associate to help build strong talent pipelines in the UK across Audit, Tax, Accounting and Corporate Finance. You will map the market, engage with candidates, and ensure a smooth recruitment process from initial contact to interview scheduling.

You will work within the Operations - People & Culture team, focusing on data accuracy in our ATS, creating compelling job adverts and improving onboarding and referral programs.

Qualifications

• Able to identify top candidates across UK markets (Audit/Accounting/Tax/Professional services).
• Data tracking, management and reporting of hiring metrics.
• Experience with an ATS (Pinpoint preferred; training provided).
• Strong screening and interviewing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively search for candidates and build talent pools for future roles.
• Maintain high quality data in the ATS for insights across teams.
• Draft engaging job specs that reflect company culture and attract applicants.
• Oversee application processes and identify channels with best reach.

You’ll form part of the Sumer Group TA Team, helping us identify the best people for our business, market mapping talent, and keeping our hiring process smooth and efficient. This role is all about building strong talent pipelines, keeping things organised, and making sure candidates have a great experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Finding Great Talent: Proactively search for and engage candidates, headhunting for niche roles, and building strong talent pools for future hiring needs.
• Keeping Us Organised: Manage and maintain high-quality data in our ATS, making sure hiring teams have the best insights to make smart decisions.
• Bringing Our Job Ads to Life: Draft engaging job specs that reflect our culture and attract the right people.
• Managing Applications: Track where best to advertise roles and oversee the application process to attract the right talent.
• Screening & Selection: Conduct first-stage candidate screenings, helping to match the right people to the right roles.
• Staying Ahead of the Market: Keep competitor market maps up to date, tracking trends to inform our hiring strategy.
• Supporting Key Projects: Get involved in initiatives like onboarding improvements, referral campaigns, and candidate testing.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• You know how to find great candidates – especially in the UK across Audit, Accounting, Tax, or professional services. If you've worked within the South African market is also a bonus!
• You’re data-savvy – you can track, manage, and report on hiring data with accuracy and provide meaningful insight.
• You’ve worked with an ATS before – if you’ve used Pinpoint, even better! (If not, we’ll get you up to speed.)
• You’re great at screening candidates – you know how to ask the right questions to find the best fit.
• You keep things running smoothly – whether it’s updating templates, coordinating interviews, or managing recruitment processes, you make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
