Requirements: Recent Financial Services experience, as well as experience working in a fast-paced, change/growth culture environment, is essential for this role.

About the role:

Medlock Partner is partnering with a Manchester-based Financial Services business to find an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner for a 16-month fixed-term contract. This delivery-focused role involves supporting fast-paced, business-critical hiring across various teams.

The successful candidate will own the full recruitment process—using direct sourcing, referrals, and agency support when needed—to secure top talent. You will be hiring for roles in investment, risk, technology, compliance, and operations, preferably with experience in financial services, investment management, or capital markets.

Key responsibilities:
  • Understand the needs of hiring managers and deliver excellent outcomes.
  • Manage vacancies from brief to offer, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines across multiple sourcing channels.
  • Partner with stakeholders at all levels to provide advice and guidance.
  • Support or lead wider HR, people, and talent initiatives such as process improvements, diversity hiring, early careers, EVP, and onboarding projects.
Ideal candidate:

Hands-on, commercially minded, and confident working in a fast-moving, complex environment. Delivery-driven, stakeholder management skills, and passion for recruiting are essential.
