Job description

Take ownership of the complete talent acquisition function for a growing recruitment business.

This is a standalone, hands-on position responsible for attracting, sourcing, recruiting and securing high-quality talent across the organisation. The Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand their growth plans, develop effective recruitment strategies and build strong talent pipelines.

The successful individual will become the internal specialist for everything recruitment-related, combining proactive headhunting and talent mapping with excellent candidate management, stakeholder engagement and recruitment reporting.

Expertise:
  • Previous experience working in an internal talent acquisition, recruitment or executive search role.
  • Experience recruiting within the staffing, recruitment or professional services sector would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong direct sourcing and headhunting experience.
  • Proven ability to map competitor businesses and build targeted talent pipelines.
  • Experience managing recruitment processes from initial briefing through to offer acceptance.
  • Ability to write clear, engaging and compelling job descriptions and advertisements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating by telephone and video call.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment and candidate qualification skills.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and challenging constructively when required.
  • Confidence using recruitment data and reporting to guide hiring decisions.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for recruitment activity across the business.
  • Establish credibility with hiring managers through strong market knowledge, honest advice and reliable delivery.
  • Provide regular updates on individual recruitment processes and the overall hiring pipeline.
  • Set realistic expectations around timescales, candidate availability and salary levels.
  • Challenge briefs constructively where market insight suggests a different approach may be more effective.
  • Help managers improve their interviewing and candidate engagement skills.
  • Ensure recruitment decisions support the long‑term commercial and cultural objectives of the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing vacancies.

You will have the autonomy to shape the talent acquisition function, influence how the company attracts and assesses talent, and build a recruitment strategy that supports the next stage of the business’s growth.

It would particularly suit an experienced agency recruiter or internal Talent Acquisition Partner who enjoys direct headhunting, building strong relationships and having genuine ownership of their work.
