Job description

About Sygnature Discovery

At Sygnature Discovery, we create exceptional scientific outcomes. For our customers, who bring life-changing medicines to patients; and for our people, who help make this possible.

We’re 700+ scientists from over 50 countries, working as one across Europe and North America. With no competing internal programs, we offer total confidentiality and commitment.

Over the past 20 years, we’ve earned a track record of real impact: 60+ advanced candidates, 250 patents filed, 200+ active projects. Over 90% of our customers choose to stay with us – from biotech's racing to clinic to pharma companies that need specialised expertise for targeted challenges.

About the role:

Our Talent Team plays an important role in bringing brilliant people into Sygnature and helping them develop, grow and succeed throughout their careers. From attracting and recruiting talented scientists and professionals to supporting learning and development initiatives, we help create an environment where people can do their best work.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual to join our team in a varied role spanning Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working at pace, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right. You might be an experienced Administrator looking for an opportunity to develop your career within Talent, or someone with previous experience in recruitment or learning and development who is ready to take on more responsibility at Coordinator level.

You’ll play an important role in keeping our Talent activities running smoothly, supporting recruitment processes, coordinating learning and development activities and helping us deliver a positive experience for colleagues and candidates alike.

Working closely with hiring managers and the wider People Team, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of activities, from managing recruitment administration and candidate communications on our applicant tracking system (ATS), to supporting our learning management system (LMS), coordinating training and contributing to wider Talent initiatives.

We're looking for someone who is curious, adaptable and keen to learn, with a positive, can-do attitude and the confidence to take ownership of their work. You'll enjoy being busy and a fast pace of work, balancing competing priorities and finding ways to make things work better.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team, gain exposure to both Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development, and make a real contribution to how we attract, develop and retain great people.

Note, this is a 6-month maternity cover position and requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Role Responsibilities
Administrator level
  • Provide administrative support across Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development, including recruitment coordination, candidate communications, training bookings and onboarding.

  • Maintain accurate records and information across our recruitment and learning management systems.

  • Support the coordination of learning programmes, training sessions and wider Talent initiatives.

  • Respond to colleague and candidate queries, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Coordinator level
  • Support and deliver recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening and managing vacancies in partnership with hiring managers.

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of learning and development programmes, including LMS administration and reporting.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and colleagues across recruitment and learning activities.

  • Contribute to Talent projects, process improvements and initiatives that enhance the candidate and colleague experience.

  • Monitor recruitment data and provide insights to support informed decision-making.

  • Share market intelligence and recruitment best practice with stakeholders across the business.

Skills & Qualifications
We're particularly looking for:
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.

  • A proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach, with the confidence to use your initiative and take ownership of tasks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.

  • Good IT skills and confidence working with different systems and databases.

  • A fast-paced, solutions-focused approach, with a willingness to get stuck in and support wherever needed.

  • A genuine interest in Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development, with a desire to develop your knowledge and experience.

Depending on experience, you may also bring:
  • Previous experience in a recruitment, HR, Talent or Learning & Development administrative role.

  • Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment, candidate sourcing and stakeholder management.

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ideally Teamtailor.

  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS), including course administration, learning records and reporting.

  • An understanding of recruitment processes, learning coordination or wider HR activities.

  • A CIPD qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) or relevant training would be beneficial but is not essential.
