Our provision also includes family learning programmes that empower parents, carers, and family members to support their children's learning, strengthening confidence, aspirations, and outcomes for the whole family.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Sessional Tutor who is passionate about helping adults from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of abilities unlock their potential.
Many of our learners are returning to education - sometimes for the first time in years - and you will play a key role in helping them build their skills, confidence, motivation and resilience. Through your teaching and support, you will enable learners to work towards their personal goals, whether that is gaining employment, participating in volunteering, progressing in learning, supporting their child's development, improving their health and wellbeing, or becoming more active within their communities.
Most courses are delivered within communities across Peterborough and surrounding areas in the morning or afternoon, including schools, family hubs, community centres and places of worship. Some courses may also take place at City College Peterborough, so a willingness to travel to different venues is essential.
This is a sessional tutor role, with courses delivered according to learner demand and funding availability.

Candidates shortlisted for interview will be invited to deliver a 30-minute micro-teach, followed by an interview.
