Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a collaborative professional to support oversight of third-party providers and enhance client experience in a hybrid London-based role. You will engage with Distribution and Product to meet evolving business needs and leverage AI tools such as Copilot to improve processes.

The role emphasizes relationship management, regulatory adherence, and delivering changes across jurisdictions with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience or interest in AI/digital tools to improve processes.
  • Experience with direct/institutional clients.
  • Knowledge of UK/Lux/Irish pooled vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Work with third-party providers to set and monitor controls.
  • Maintain close relationships with third-party providers.
  • Carry out daily Transfer Agency Operations checklist tasks.
  • Review MI and deliver improvements to Client Experience.
  • Support AI-enabled tooling adoption to enhance oversight and reporting.

Your opportunity
  • Work closely with the relevant third-party providers ensuring that the levels of oversight and monitoring of controls and processes are set and performed rigorously to the required levels.
  • Establish and maintain a close and effective working relationship with our third-party providers.
  • Carry out the daily checklist tasks to the required level to include - Supporting oversight control functions within Transfer Agency Operations – i.e. monitoring debtors and creditors positions, onsite monitoring of core functions such as investor dealing and settlement, income payments, bank account reconciliations, account maintenance, etc.
  • Support the monitoring programme by reviewing completed work of SS&C and ensuring work completed to required standards and within required timescales.
  • Work with our partners in Distribution and Product consistently, reacting to and understanding new or changing business needs. You will actively help to deliver change and provide/adapt operational support/models, within regulatory guidelines. that will help grow AUM & revenue.
  • You will review and analyze MI to identify service issues as early as possible and design/ deliver continuous improvements to Client Experience
  • Manage and resolve any queries from internal and external parties utilizing the team resources.
  • Champion new ideas to raise processes to ‘Best Practice’ and align them across jurisdictions.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned
Digital & AI Enablement
  • Drive the adoption of AI-enabled tooling (e.g. Copilot) to enhance oversight activities, control monitoring, MI analysis, and reporting efficiency
  • Develop and document practical use cases that improve team productivity, operational resilience, and consistency of output
  • Share use cases and insights across the function to support broader digital transformation initiatives
  • Support team capability uplift through training, knowledge sharing, and ongoing mentorship in the use of AI tools

Must have skills
  • Degree level education or meaningful professional qualifications or some industry experience.
  • Experience or interest in leveraging AI / digital tools (e.g. Copilot) to drive process improvement and enhance operational efficiency
  • Experience of supporting direct clients, institutional clients and platforms
  • Product knowledge of UK / Luxembourg and Irish pooled vehicles
  • Makes quick, clear decisions which may include tough choices or considered risks; applies sound judgement by comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions
