  • Strong understanding of the UK Health Care System and ABPI code.

Job description

The Medical Manager is accountable for the design and execution of Medical Affairs plans for Solid Tumours (Breast Cancer), providing scientific information, contributing to clinical strategy, collaborating to develop impactful medical education plans, evidence generation plans and implementation science plans.

About the Role

Location: London Office with Hybrid working (12 days per month in the office).

Unfortunately we are unable to offer relocation or visa support for this role.

Major accountabilities:

  • Contributes to clinical strategy during the brand life cycle / disease area
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop impactful medical education plans and projects, inspire, influence and educate on the importance of the clinical context
  • Performs critical appraisal of scientific data and contributes to publication plans
  • Supports the process of building the evidence generation plan and assesses the future needs
  • Effectively communicates clinical evidence to internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Identifies and acts on insights relevant to launch readiness and life cycle maximization, analyses and shares them timely and appropriately, to impact the strategy accordingly
  • Identifies HCS stakeholder needs and opportunities to engage

Requirements:

  • Medically qualified and GMC registered Physician or Pharmacist or PhD, Life Science Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of the TA-related disease area and Medical Affairs experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and customer orientation
  • Knowledge of drug development and the UK Health Care System
  • Able to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively and collaboratively in multifunctional teams
  • Strong understanding of the ABPI code.
